NEW MegaPhase® SuperFlex™ 26.5 GHz Temperature Stable Test Cable.
Stroudsburg, PA - May 12, 2003 - MegaPhase LLC, announces the new and improved MegaPhase® SuperFlex™ 26.5 GHz test temperature stable cable. The new SuperFlex™ is phase and amplitude stable with unparalleled temperature stability of < 7ppm per °C from –40° to +125°C. MegaPhase recently added a neoprene jacketing to further enhance the flexibility of this cable for ATE applications. The SuperFlex™ is based on the MegaPhase® industry-leading pure copper GrooveTube® outer conductor technology, synonymous with stability versus flexure.
The SuperFlex™ operating temperature range is -70° to +121°C. The phase and amplitude change versus flexure, measured for a 360º wrap around a 4.75-inch mandrel, is < 1.8° and < 0.02 dB at 5 GHz and < 4.0° and < 0.05 dB through 26.5 GHz. The construction is a stranded silver-plated copper inner conductor, PTFE tape dielectric, GrooveTube® outer conductor, metal braid ruggedization, a neoprene outer jacket, finished with heavy-duty strain reliefs. The finished outer diameter measures 0.285 inches (7.24 mm).

MegaPhase Batwing™- 8 Port Test Adapter for Tight Fit End-Launch Chipsets.
Stroudsburg, PA - November 18, 2002 - MegaPhase LLC, a leading manufacturer of coaxial test cables and adapters announces the release of the MegaPhase® Batwing™ Chipset Test Adapter. The Batwing™ enables test engineers to easily connect network analyzer ports to chipsets with closely spaced (0.141in) end-launch connectors through 65 GHz. The Batwing™ test adapters are phase/delay matched and fixed electrical data can be easily added to software error correction models.
Each Batwing™ adapter has eight ports and a length up to 4.5 inches. A custom spacing block is used to maintain consistent distance between connectors for multiple connect/disconnect cycles. This block can also be configured with mounting holes for permanent test fixtures.

The MegaPhase PiggyBack™ enables test engineers to easily connect network analyzer ports to chipsets with closely spaced (0.141in) end-launch connectors through 50 GHz. MegaPhase Designs New Precision High Temperature Type-N Adapter.

The MegaPhase Type-N is an in-series female-to-female type-N adapter. It features an operating temperature through +300° C, low VSWR and insertion loss, and rugged construction for consistent electrical performance. The maximum operating frequency is 18 GHz depending on the interface. Insertion length is 2.24 in. / 5.69 cm. Phase matching is available.
The MegaPhase Type-N adapter provides a bulkhead interface for applications where temperatures exceed the normal operation of standard type-N designs.
