Custom Designs and Prototyping
When standard off the shelf RF connectors do not meet your needs, our Engineering staff works with you to design interconnect products to meet your requirements, or re-engineer obsolete connectors. MegaPhase will provide excellent interconnect products which will allow you to focus on other aspects of your system design. The quality of these products is derived from years of experience of our engineering staff in the design of custom connectors serving the Defense, Commercial, and Aerospace Customers. We also provide a multitude of support services including electronic and mechanical qualification testing, prototypes, and prove out of final design.
MegaPhase’s “special design connectors” are available in a wide variety of interfaces and configurations, designed in accordance with MIL-STD 348, IEEE 287, sealed connectors per IP68 and other pertinent
specifications
- Interfaces include: 1.85mm,2.4mm,2.9mm,3.5mm ,SMA, N, TNC ,ZMA, & ZN
- In variety of configurations: Straight,Jack, Bulkhead, Right Angle, PC Mount
- For semi-rigid and flexible cable types utilizing the following methods of termination: Crimp styles, direct solder, solder clamp

- 3D Modeling
- EM Simulation
Mechanical Designs. 3D Modeling, simulation and analysis using Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire software. Supports exchange with most CAD software formats.
3D Simulation. Fast and accurate simulation of high frequency problem is CST MICROWAVE STUDIO®. Features imports directly from PRO/E to solve problems before wasting time and money on "trial and error" efforts.

- 23 years of RF/Coax connector design, with extensive experience in Finite Element Analysis, high frequency and mechanical simulation, testing, technical writing, presentations and customer support.
- Held Engineering positions at AMP, FCI and ITT Cannon
- Currently holds (12) U.S. Patents with (1) U.S. Patent pending and (1) Great Britain Patent pending.
- 23 year member of the ASME and the Penn State Alumni Association.
