E-2C Hawkeye TRAC-A AEW Surveillance
Radar Antenna
The E-2C Hawkeye Total Radiation
Aperture Control Antenna provides fleet protection
for the United State Navy. The Hawkeye is an all-weather,
carrier-based tactical warning and control system
aircraft. A 24-foot rotating dome antenna is mounted
on top of the E-2C above the fuselage. The radome
houses an antenna which rotates at 6 rpm. One radar
sweep covers 6 million cubic miles. MegaPhase supplies
NextPhase™ Cable
for this phased array radar system.

10 x 10 RF Switch Matrix
MegaPhase Semi-Rigid Cable assemblies
are used in 10 x 10 (maximum) switch matrix system.
The system is enclosed in a 7" x 19" rack-mountable
chassis and is used for ATE, laboratory testing and
programmable patch-panel applications.
Hunter Short-Range
Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) System
The Hunter UAV is a pilotless aircraft controlled
from a ground station. The Hunter UAV flies over enemy
territory and transmits video imagery to ground stations
for use by military commanders. The mission of the
Hunter is to provide both ground and maritime forces
with day and night reconnaissance, intelligence, surveillance,
and target aquisition for military commanders. It operates
within a 200 km direct radius of action, extendable
to 300+ km by using another Hunter as an airborne link
relay and its maximum altitude is 4.6 km. MegaPhase
manufactures custom-engineered cable assemblies for
the Hunter UAV Program.
